Tom Holland Simply Cannot Stop Wearing Turtlenecks

Pop science says it takes 21 days to form a habit, which may mean that Tom Holland is about a fortnight away from becoming a full-blown turtleneck aficionado.

As of last week, Holland is deep into the press tour for his latest action flick, Uncharted, and so he’s pulled up in a blue rolled mockneck in Barcelona, a black turtleneck under a pinstripe double-breasted waistcoat in Paris, and, last night, another black polo neck paired with a sleek gray suit in New York. This isn’t exactly new territory for Holland—scroll any Tomdaya fan account for long enough and you’ll find press tour photos of him in a necky sweater, not to mention his recent GQ cover shoot. It also feels pretty in line with Holland’s Young Bond aspirations. And sure, a turtleneck tour could simply be because it’s winter (famously a time when necks get cold), but it also could be another notch in this new moment of red-carpet dressing, which has opened the field to switching out a classic penguin suit for something a little more…reptillic, as…
